Nse Ikpe Etim Battles Infertility, Slams Fans Asking Why She’s Yet To Have Children 5 Years After Wedding

Nollywood actress Nke Ikpe Etim has finally revealed the cause of her delay in child bearing.

The actress who is well over 40 said she is battling infertility just like other women with delayed child-birth.

Here is what she wrote on Instagram a day after she said she uses orgasm to relieve stress.

“A woman is a person. A person who can decide what she wants to do with her body or her time.

So, it is extremely ignorant to expect all women to eventually be mothers.

There are many reasons why a woman may not have children.

Infertility is more common than we know and to immediately ask a woman why she doesn’t have a child is extremely insensitive.

There are also women who have chosen to not have children simply because they will not put their bodies through pregnancy. They simply do not want to have kids and this is perfectly okay.

Whatever a woman decides to do – to have babies or to not; or whether they are battling infertility is no one’s business.

Happiness is all that matters. Gratefully, it is absolutely free.

My prayer and hope is that one day we will not judge unfairly unmarried or childless women.

That being said, if children will make you happy, I pray that you have loads of them.
If you do not want or cannot have kids, remember that you can still find joy and do not allow anybody make you feel less.
Enjoy life. Breathe freely and enjoy all the beauty in the world.

For me, love and light are the truth and all I ever want is to live in happiness and pure truth.”

We human beings see things differently among one another. Your happiness is not someone else’s happiness. Some people happiness depend on Education, some on having children, some to remain single or becoming a gay. Let’s not blame anyone or make them fell less important or feel bad about themselves.

A grown adult like the lady above knows what is good for her. Just because you have kids and they are doing well does not mean your friend must have kids. Your good wish at times may be hurting him/her and may not align with his/her desire. Let’s try to respect the wish of others. It is a big mistake when we compare our lifestyles or priorities with another fellow human being whose idea is totally different from ours. It is never a good idea to force our beliefs on others.

Battling infertility is something i would never wish for any Nigerian woman who wishes to have children. The stigma, name calling, humiliation etc. Any woman going through this needs all the positive energy her and prayer to remain strong and find something else to feel happy. God keep us all strong and hugs to all these women.
