Two men caught selling expired digestive biscuits to retailers in Lagos have been arrested.

The suspects Rabiu Olalekan and Hakeem Tiamiyi were arrested for re-packaging and selling expired digestive biscuits to members of the public and retailers around Mosafejo market in Oshodi, Lagos.

A lady caught repackaging the expired digestive biscuits at Oshodi exposed them.

Both traders who hailed from Ibadan blamed poverty for their actions.

    They arrested only two of them? They are many and I hope NAFDAC or whoever is on that beat would try harder because when natural bubiousness team up with poverty it spells danger for the populace.
