Tension is currently looming in a remote area of Kaduna state after a private mining syndicate from Germany discovered 3 precious metals.

Last week, a wealthy Mining veteran, Hugh Morgan operating in remote areas of Africa and his group discovered Nickel, Cobalt and Iron in large quantity at a forest reserve area of Dangoma LGA of Kaduna state.

He reportedly informed the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development of his plan to start mining in the area and his proposal was approved.

An unconfirmed report from Nindam Forest Reserve in Dangoma said he has paid huge amount of money to Kaduna state government in order to take control of the area.

Don’t they have local miners to take over the exploration, why Germans
I’m sure they must have discovered gold there too but they won’t inform them

We do have Ministry of Solid Minerals abi ? Let them devise some plan that Nigerians can key into in the near future to take over the mining activities even if we are not in a position to do so now.
I hope this discovery is no hoax as I have since been praying they discover worthwhile minerals in the North so interest in fighting over control of oil will ease off and allow Nigeria some chance of remaining one in peace.
All the bickering and hatred among the Regions in Nigeria, I believe stems from the desire to control oil. It is like having many children and living in the family House. When the children are young, the house appears big but when children are grown living together kicks peace out the window and peace remains elusive until every child of the family becomes self sufficient enough to build their own homes, no matter how small such individual homes are.
Don’t boot out the oyinbo until you learn how to manage the resources on your own. That way you eliminate the situation where loafers and layabouts wish to have a share of the cake without lifting a finger to work for it and possibly will destroy the mines so the hard working ones do not also benefit…….. As we currently experience elsewhere in the country.

SINCE HE MADE the discovery himself—and he must have paid to explore that area in the first place—it only makes sense that he follows it through with mining it himself.

BUT I DID not here anything concerning the federal government in the whole news; rather, it is Kaduna State. Is it because this is not oil?

Nigeria is indeed blessed with natural resources undiscovered and untapped hidden around the country.
    THINGS CAN ONLY GET BETTER.

    I take a stroll…
