Some hired killers suspected to be members of a cult group have ended the life of an easy-going lecturer in Agriculture Faculty of Kogi University.
Life was snuffed out of Professor Olurotimi Otitolaye on Saturday hours after his abduction.
According to students, Otitolaye was kidnapped at gunpoint very close to Stadium Road in Ayingba on Friday as he was about to eat.
The kidnappers didn’t make any contact with the family.
On Saturday his lifeless body with obvious signs of torture was found in Ofu LGA of Kogi state.
The deceased is survived by an 8-month-pregnant wife and 2 sons.
