Multiple reports across the United States indicated that 12 people have lost their lives to the deadly cold snap ravaging the Midwestern states.
At least 12 people died in Iowa, Illinois, Detroit and Wisconsin as polar vortex ravages the country.
The latest victim of the cold snap is a student of the University of Iowa, Geralz Belz who froze to death on campus.
Another man who didn’t wear Winter clothes was found dead near his house in Detroit.
In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a 55-year-old man shoveling snow collapsed and froze to death.
With death toll expected to reach all time high, officials have urged citizens of the Midwest to stay in door.
