July 28, 2016 – LUTH Doctors Says Nigerian Lady With Ovarian Cancer Mayowa Ahmed Will Die Soon, Say Campaign Was A Scam

The family of cancer victim Mayowa Ahmed has duped kind hearted Nigerians to the tune of 3.9million naira after doctors told them the lady can’t survive stage 4 cervical cancer.

Toyin Aimakhu who started the #SaveMayowa Campaign to raise fund for the ailing lady was shocked to the bone today when LUTH doctors told her they never ordered Mayowa to travel abroad because her condition can not be healed in any hospital in the world.

The actress stormed police station today to claim her innocence. Teary Toyin said Mayowa Ahmed’s family lied to her.

Hope the police will go after the criminals who set up this scam.

There is nothing a person eats that the hand will perpetually remain in his mouth. If the family obtained the money by false presences, it is between them and God because they are blocking other people’s genuine need for funds from being responded to with compassion by the public.
Toyin, you tried your best in lending a helping hand to someone in need so don’t beat yourself because it turned out to be a scam by the family.. You would have felt worse if you did not help and it turned out that your help would have made a difference. Simply move on but store the wisdom you have acquired from the experience.

You shouldn’t blame urself for doing the right thing, but in case of next time try and do proper investigation before going into dis kind of thing especially when u know other peoples money will be involved, like talking to everyone involved especially d doctors in charge.
Its a lesson that I believe not only u but others av learnt as well. So what is d condition of d lady in question.

Maybe the family scammed Nigerians. Maybe she might die from stage 4 Ovarian cancer. Question is. Why wait till it gets to stage4 before asking for help. No one knows the crux of the story. Maybe the family still believe she can be saved by applying fresh medical eyes to her case in a foreign land. THERE HAVE BEEN STAGE3 AND 4 REMISSIONS. Toyin did her best. God bless her for that. If indeed it was a scam, good luck to them.

Use the money collected to operate on her and pray for God’s healing. With faith she will recover but keep her away from her family for now.

Please kindly arrange to take her to any of the on-going crusade/revival programme being organised by Deeper Life Bible Church. The man of God, Pastor W.F Kumuyi will pray for her and Jesus will heal her instantaneously. So many people have been healed miraculously and testimonies abound.
