Sept 3rd, 2013 – Governor Suntai Loyalists File Lawsuit To Stop Acting Governor Of Taraba State, Garba Umar

The latest news coming from Taraba state is that Governor Danbaba Suntai loyalists have filed a lawsuit to stop the current acting governor of the state (Garba Umar) from taking over power.

If Governor Suntai can’t speak fluently, forcing him to rule the people of Taraba is a mission impossible. The man should return for treatment in the US and pray for quick healing so he can resume his official duty.

While in the hospital Taraba State Government would continue to pay his medical bills and family expenses. Any attempt to engage in power tussle with governor Garba Umar may lead to his impeachment.

As Femi Falana earlier said in his petition, the genuineness of the fake letter purportedly written by the sick governor must be probed.

It seems some political thieves like to rule Taraba by proxy.

    • Suntai’s spokesman really want to create a kind of problem that we don’t like Taraba State to be confronted to. How could a mentally disable Sultai rule? Not even animals.

  1. Money! They say is the root of all evil.why cant u people allow the mad man to continue his treatment abroad and hand over power to his deputy?why all this rubbish? It is obvious that suntai cant handle taraba state any more so why the pretence?ogaaaaoooo

  2. Don, can you call your father “a mad man”if by no fault of his he finds himself in Gov Suntai’s shoes? Why use such harsh words when clearly the man is unwell and needs prayers. The callousness of some humans never seize to amaze me.
