    Sorry Tekno!
God is in control. For reflux disease, know what irritates your eosophagus, eat early, refrain from oily foods, no alcohol. Omeprazole is OTC medication, it controls the disease.
In US, it’s very easy to treat. My mom was mis-diagnosed in LUTH in 2005.
God saved her life. I take her for endoscopic eosophageal balloon dillation, like every two years.

A HEALTHY MAN MAY not fully appreciate what a blessing it is! Please recover soon! They call it gastro-what? Sickness don plenty pass away people o(in the voice of One and Only, Bench).

NOT TO FORGET that vocal cord problem, I wonder what exactly it is. For many years now, I have been battling a vocal condition I hope it would not get to this point. I speak well, and I sing very very well. But the problem is that I cannot sustain that voice for more than 3–5mins of continuous singing without having to rest my vocal cords(By the way, I’m talking about classical songs). My voice cracks easily, recovers easily, after some 50–60secs, only to crack again once I resume singing. I don’t know what solution holds out there for me.
