UNILAG Dropout, Nursing Mother Attempts Suicide On 3rd Mainland Bridge: Lady With Baby Rescued While Trying To Jump Into Lagos Lagoon

A frustrated woman was yesterday rescued from the grip of death in Lagos.

27-year-old Halimat Adegoke reportedly tried to plunge into the Lagoon from 3rd Mainland bridge around 5pm before RRS officials intervened.

The woman reportedly walked down to the Mainland Bridge from Medina Estate in Gbagada area of Lagos after a voice ordered her to go there.

A cab driver who saw the woman alerted Rapid Response Squad riders on patrol who came over to rescue her.

She told RRS officials that her husband sent her out of her matrimonial home before she moved into her parent’s home in Gbagada.

Halimat and her 12-month-old baby have been reunited with her family.

See? Another “voice” commanding someone to commit something. I said it before and I say again that hardship is that voice commanding people left, right and centre to do bad things. Powers that be please arrest this situation so Nigerians can go back to being the happiest people on earth.

How could a voice just commanded you to go jump into the Lagoon and you obeyed with immediate alacrity without one backward look?

Ok, since you now obeys voices… I COMMAND YOU NEVER TO COMMIT SUICIDE FOR ONLY ONE REASON, YOUR CHILD, GBAM!

How close are we to our Creator? A strange voice commanding you to terminate ur life and the innocent baby. At a point in ones life, we get frustrated. Honestly, it takes the Grace of God to manage that. Thank God, there was a quick intervention. Believe in God and all will be well.
