What To Do When You Feel Like Giving Up On Your Dreams

I got an email that puts tears of joy into my eyes from a lovely fan, Teniola based in London this evening.

The short email reads:

“I want to let you know that your posts have changed me for the better. I got to know about your site through a link Mama sent me . Please note that I look up to your posts every week.

I don’t want you to stop them. There was a day when it all felt like the end, this post on your website gave me a change of heart.

I still do not know where I will be if not for your post you titled “Don’t Give Up! It Is Not Over For You“.

I pray for you everyday since I read about  your ordeal in Nigeria. Please don’t stop what you are doing.”

Although relocation stress is taking a toll on my body, I will put my best in.

Life in Canada is totally different from back home.

At home, you can easily leave your kids with family members and go about your business but it is not like that over here.

Adjusting is very hard but I promise to continue giving my best.

Thanks for the inspiration. I need this more than ever.

True Confession!!!.

I once considered quitting but because am passionate about blogging and I have promised to keep my reporters and freelancers back home in Nigeria employed, giving up is not an option for me.

If I stop now, several people under my payroll may not be able to feed their families so I have to keep pushing.

Also, I started this blog to empower people and update them with the latest information and that is what I love to do.

My attack is only a temporary setback. I will come back better and stronger.

Physically I may not be able to do much, I have workers taking care of this for me.

My duty is to look over their work and approve them before going live.

I want to encourage someone out there also, please don’t give up on your dreams.

Remembers winners don’t quit and quitters don’t win.

When you feel like quitting, it will be a good idea to remember why you started in the first place.

So many people started blogging for money, I started it first to impact lives and that is what I intend to continue doing.

Stay strong, stay committed to  your dreams, wake up everyday with a renewed sense of purpose.

That is the best way to live life to the fullest.
