December 27, 2016 – Woman Stabs Husband To Death In Ikorodu Lagos On Christmas Day For Refusing To Provide Money For Food

57-year-old Christiana Odo allegedly murdered her poor husband, Rominus Odo on Christmas day over his refusal to provide money for the family to celebrate Christmas.

According to area residents, the couple fought all day on Christmas day at their rented room on London Barber street in Majidun area of Ikorodu on Sunday because the man of the house told his wife he doesn’t have money for food to celebrate Christmas.

At about 5:20pm, the deceased became frustrated and beat his wife. In anger, Christiana reportedly picked a kitchen knife and stabbed Rominus on the chest.

Neighbours gathered at the couple’s home when the man screamed for help sadly, he died on the spot.

His corpse has been deposited at the Ikorodu General Hospital mortuary.
