Nov 1st, 2011 – 2 Shot Dead in Tragic Armed Robbery Attack in Port Harcourt 

The non-stop armed robberies presently going in the city of Port Harcourt is an issue of concern to many.

On Monday morning around 9:30am Naijan.com learnt that at Everyday Emporium Supermarket, Rumuola, branch while a few staff members of the popular supermarket were conveying money from one branch to the other, with police escort, armed robbers, believed to have followed them, struck.

The van transporting the money was cornered at Umurelu Street side, behind Rumuola Junction and was sprayed with bullets. A staff member and the police escort was killed instantly while the other 2 policemen suffer gun-shot wounds.

Nobody is safe in Nigeria except the ones the Lord protects.
