A Personal Confession!!!

i have a confession

Welcome to December 2019 friends.

May this month bring us success, favour and answer to prayers.

I have a little confession to make please permit me to get personal this time around.

I’m a little emotional but I must say this before the year runs out.

Before I go further, I want to say a big thanks to our top columnists Anthony Ogunlowo and Pastor Gbenga Adebambo for their timely encouragement. I really appreciate your words of inspiration. God bless you.

Few weeks ago, I travelled to Lagos Nigeria for a court case that was instituted against me by one of our biggest advertisers.

Apparently, this advertiser that I only got to know when our Manager varnished with huge amount of money sued me to court for refusing to publish his adverts after paying over N12million (money stolen by manager who is currently in Kirikiri).

Sadly, I didn’t know about all these until the ‘demon in human form’ disappeared and forced us to close down our office.

At the end of the case, the client was awarded the sum of N15million and I was ordered to pay the amount I didn’t have to the client.

Even though my  hubby has been very patient with the manager that was apprehended recently, he was forced to cough out N5million.

I have been running around town in the past few days trying to raise N10million for the client.

Infact, I was shocked to the bone that a childhood friend that I entrusted my business into his care to cater to my health could do such a selfish thing.

Friends, please trust no one, if you have a business, be careful who you put in charge of it.

If not for my failing health and the attack I told you about (at that time), things would not have turned this way.

Still recovering from the shock.

For those asking me if I’m giving up on the blog, no guys (blogging is my hobby, even though I’m drifting a bit into vlogging on YouTube, I still feel fulfilled when I blog).

I tried twice to re-brand but I noticed it won’t help the theme of this blog, so I dumped that plan.

Please bear with me if I’m not updating as I used to, will try my best going forward.

I will be doing all updates myself as I used to when I started this blog in 2010.

Since that time and now, a lot has changed, I now have 3 kids.

I will do everything within my power to add value to this blog for the benefits of all my friends.

I will bring back the good old gist corner soon. I’m upgrading it.

Happy new month to you and yours.

God bless you all.

so sorrow love. People no longer have integrity. Everyone is after their own selfish desires. Don’t trust no one, I agree even your own family member can do worse

HAPPY NEW MONTH TO YOU, TO ALL NG CREW AND FANS, AND TO MY VERY HUMBLE ME, METU NYETU! IT JUST FEELS great to see another December. Many have fallen by the wayside, still here we are.

I MAKE some attempts at poetry, and in one of my couplets(apologies at best) I have this: To the living alone is hope spoken/ Or else the dead would have long awoken.

I WRITE this because I feel bad about what you have been through of late, and still passing through. Though I don’t know you in person, I tend to take personal such kind of matters that have to do with you. Sometimes I wonder if you are not my sister from another Mister. Yeah!

THE SUMMARY OF WHAT I WANT to say here is, Believe! Just believe, and it shall be well in the course of time. If I should trace by all means a silver lining from your sad tale, it is that the very greedy man that put you into all this is now in Kirikiri. It is well! And to all NG fans who may be facing some difficulty, I say, right from my very own ink,

    Belief in a future can life sustain;
Hope is but the balm that soothes the day’s pain.
To the living alone is hope spoken,
Or else the dead would have long awoken.

    *****************************************************************
(I like to deceive myself sometimes. And here I am just thinking that one or two people may fancy referencing my quotations. In that case, may I humbly request that they don’t forget to quote my name(Tony Chukwuma) along side. Thanks!)
