June 20, 2016 – Algeria Bans Facebook & Twitter To Prevent Students From Cheating In Exams
The North African country of Algeria has banned students from gaining access to Facebook and other social media networks.
The decision was taken yesterday after exam questions were leaked online. The Algerian FG said the decision was made to stop further leakage of exam papers online.
In a statement released yesterday, the Minister of Information said the block will put a stop to matriculation exams cheating.

Why should exam questions be posted online in the first instance? On the other hand it is comforting to know that “expo” problem is not an exclusively Naija problem.. Sure, misery loves company.
