“This image was shown fleetingly within a comedy promotional video for Barbershopera, a humorous barbershop group, who were appearing later on in the programme. The material was provided by Barbershopera but we failed to spot the offending material within it. We apologise for this.”

The above apology message was written by BBC yesterday after displaying a comic photo of Prince William with Penis on his forehead.

A BBC viewer who noticed the picture shared it on Twitter yesterday with the caption;

“Guessing BBC Breakfast didn’t vet the video clip before they used it this morning.”

Anthony Walton said he was forced to rewinding the video clip to re-check what he just saw.

“I was shocked when I was eating my breakfast this morning when I saw a penis drawn on the future king’s head on BBC Breakfast. It was a surprising one.” – Anthony said

No media house is above mistake.. Even the big guys in the business too aren’t perfect.
