Tragedy As Suspected Hired Killers Murder Couple In Their Sleep In Obosi Town Anambra State

A couple who fled from their family compound to another location in Anambra state over a lingering family feud have been murdered.

The deceased identified as Mr and Mrs Charles Ifekandu were murdered on Saturday night in their sleep at their home in Umuota area of Obosi town in Anambra state.

According to community sources, the couple living few metres away from palace of Obosi traditional ruler, Igwe Chidubem Iweka were shot dead in their sleep.

Their attackers didn’t touch any of their belongings.

Here is what an indigene of Obosi who asked not to be named said about the murder of the couple.

“I am aware that there have been age-long differences in the immediate family of the deceased, and one is left to suspect that what happened to the husband and wife might not be far from this lingering issue”.
