Forget about her recent election as the AGN President, as that is already stale news. What is now making news, hot and steamy, about this delectable actress and charming former beauty queen, Ibinabo Fiberesima is her alleged romance with top Niger-Delta militant leader, popularly known as TOMPOLO.

Very reliable sources close to Ibinabo, confided in this magazine that the two have been in a closely guarded romance for almost four years, even while Ibinabo was still in a subsisting relationship with a fellow actor, Fred Amata. The two have a child from the relationship.

Away from Fred Amata, Ibinabo the new bride, may have completely stolen the heart of this popular, stupendously rich and top militant, who has been spoiling her silly with gifts ranging from cash and kind, especially material things as long as money can buy them. We scooped that Tompolo was largely responsible for the financial aspect of Ibi’s AGN’S presidential campaign, which she won convincingly against all odds and opposition.

Tompolo and Ibinabo, the two love birds, met through a mutual friend few years back in Port Harcourt, Rivers State where Ibinabo hails from.

Contacts were invariably exchanged and they gradually became close friends. Some eagle eyes are said to have spotted them in very compromising positions at various places, but no one seemed then to any attention to them, until recently when the former beauty queen threw a lavish party in commemoration of her election as the AGN president.

According to those who attended the party, they maintained that the outlandish victory party was extravagantly sponsored by the top militant leader, Tompolo, who was also visibly present at the party in company with some of his equally big-pocket friends. Conservatively, the party was said to have gulped millions on drinks alone, while the amount expended on food and small chops can hardly be quantified, since their assortments in local and international dishes are better left in the imagination of those who munched them.

From the foregoing after the impressive party, Ibinabo had no choice but to become fonder of her new acquaintance with Tompolo, which began some years back when a terrible misfortune struck Ibinabo, following her auto accident which killed a Lagos medical doctor while (she) was driving a Jeep which supposedly belong to a former musician who is now a baker, at that trying period, Ibinabo was said to have been so neglected, abandoned to her fate as she was being tried for murder/manslaughter which eventually earned her a jail term. Far and beyond this, those who know Tompolo well say apart from his militancy adventure, he is also a “woman wrapper” who will stop at nothing to get any woman he desires. Since he became prominent and powerful via his Niger/Delta militant activities, he has been linked with several actresses and female musicians but his romance with Ibinabo seems to have struck him like a thunder as he always describes his love for Ibinabo with many adjectives like smartness, brilliance, boldness and courageousness; qualities which he could not find in his other girlfriends and mistresses.

Tompolo came into public consciousness because of his bravery and boldness as a militant leader, and was recently named as one of the beneficiaries of the federal government’s yearly largesse to ex-militants; an amount which runs into several millions of dollars.
