Operatives of EFCC stormed the home of former aviation minister, Fani Kayode yesterday following intelligence reports on some of the issues emerging from the questioning of the politician.
A source at EFCC said the search is a necessary step to carry out proper investigation on FFK.
FFK is still at the underground cell of the agency in connection to his involvement in N840million money laundering case.

It is wrong to enter his house without no warrant. Buhari is ruling the country with military enforcement. Release FFK, before the wrath of God would destroy you and your family

Naijagists what do you mean EFCC searched Fani-Kayode’s house without securing search warrant? EFCC Officers are officers of law. They know their job and also know how to go by their job within Federal law. EFCC does not need to seek permission from FFK to search his house. All they have to do is to go to the justice department and secure one. Search warrant does not have to be announced on a page of newspaper. I have witness a situation where FBI searched a suspect house while trying to get a warrant at the same time. When the alleged suspect trying to prove this illegal search through the court, the FBI replied that the reason why they proceeded in their searching was because that period felled on weekend and if they had waited till Monday, the accused individual might have disrupted some of the evidences against him and the judge ruled in favor of FBI. Fani- Kayode is a suspect and if the EFCC gave him all right, he may use that to obstruct their investigations through his lawyer by filing all these stupid injunction not to search his property. Whenever you are dealing with criminals you have to devise a way of out smarting them otherwise they can bring your investigations to fruitless and FFK has what it takes to do just that.
