Ahmadu Bello University students in Zaria have been hit with the sad news of the sudden demise of three of their lecturers.

On Friday afternoon, while travelling from Abuja back to Zaria, three professors at the Department of Theatre and Performing Arts died untimely in a fatal car crash that happened on Abuja-Kaduna expressway.

According to eye witnesses, their car was involved in an head-on collision with another vehicle. The three professors were pronounced dead at the scene.

The three deceased lecturers have been identified as Prof Samuel Kafewo, Nana Aisha Ali and Dr Martins Ayegba.

An eyewitness said the corpses of the three are now at an undisclosed mortuary.
