4 people died today after a fully loaded fuel tanker fell at Upper Mission Junction axis of Benin-Auchi expressway in Benin city.
According to eyewitnesses, fire department officials were trying to evacuate the content of the tanker when a Audi car driver who refused to heed to instructions when flagged down caused the content of the tanker to catch fire.
As at this evening 3 victims of the fire explosion have died in the hospital. The Audi driver reportedly died on the spot.
