If you love taking an escalator, you will be more careful after watching this heartbreaking video of a mother and her son.

The unidentified woman was just about to step off an escalator at an upscale AZG mall in China when a metal plate collapsed and crushed her.

Luckily, she managed to push her son forward while two employee tried to rescue her before she fell into the shaft.

Her lifeless body was later removed by firefighters after a 4-hour rescue operation.
