Pls, stop saying that Prof. Chinua Achebe is dead. He is not! And stop saying that he should “Rest In Peace.” Achebe has just moved to another realm, not dead. He can’t “Rest In Peace” when in Igbo cosmology he would be consulted from time to time. Achebe is a Saint, if I must use that word. Bcs, in Basillica, the clerics still consult their Saints in prayers. Pls, Achebe is not dead, and anybody that is wishing him “Rest In Peace” would be doing the spirit bad.
