Repentant Armed Robbers & Cattle Rustlers Swear An Oath With Quran Placed On Their Heads In Kano After Surrendering Arms & Weapon
About 89 cattle rustlers and armed robbers who yielded to the call of police to lay down their arms surrendered today.
The youths from Tudun wada and Sumaila area of Kano state today were forced to swear an oath with Holy Quran placed on their heads that they will never engage in robbery or stealing again.
The event witnessed by leaders of both communities and officials of Kano state Police Command is the first of its kind.
It is a community effort to tackle cattle rustling and insurgency.
Hope Kano State Government can help these youths with employment opportunities.

Why are we so primitive in this country called nigeria.meaning Koran has replaced the nigeria constitution.

obasanjo gave them sharia system in return of planned third term bid which the north later resisted.those unrepentant herdsmen are now baptized cattle rustlers..how did they get those arms and its shocking that the crisis increases whenver they gets amnesty..we need to expose their sponsors.period

This is one of the reasons Nigeria will never move forward or be one, group of people violated the constitution and there are punishments for that, and if i may ask, do they repented in prison? or they were just hungry and decided to claim repented…….Swearing with Quran?, what if tomorrow they will still continue what they were doing in the name of fighting for God/Allah.
This is just ridiculous and Nigeria government will keep on disgracing themselves before international community, these guys never committed ordinary offense, they are terrorist since you people admitted they are Armed robbers and cattle rustlers,you only omitted to put Boko haram, and this is open acknowledgement by the same government that these guys are behind the incessant killing everywhere in Nigeria, and you’re here telling us they swore with Quran, what do those criminals in Aso rock and all the government houses swore with?, either Quran or Bible, but still, they keep on stealing and killing, Zoo seems to be better than Nigeria….Nonsense.
