Saraki Restless As Offa Robbery Gang Leaders Implicate Him

offa robbery gang leaders implicate saraki

At least two more suspects in the April 5 bloody robbery in Offa, Kwara State, have been linked with Senate President Bukola Saraki, the police claimed yesterday.

Two of the three suspects mentioned by the ring leaders in connection with the crime in which 33 people, including nine policemen, were killed, have been arrested.

Police spokesman Jimoh Moshood said five of the suspects attended Senator Saraki’s daughter’s wedding.

He said three suspected gang leaders – Ayoade Akinnibosun, Ibikunle Ogunleye (aka Arrow) and Adeola Abraham – followed Dr. Saraki to the palace of the towns’ traditional ruler, the Oloffa of Offa, when he visited the town after the robbery.

Moshood displayed photographs which showed one of the suspects wearing the uniform (asoebi) used during the senator’s daughter’s wedding.

Moshood told reporters that the two suspects just arrested – Alhaji Kehinde Gobiri (aka Captain) ‘47yrs’ and Alhaji Oba Shuaib Olododo (aka Jawando) ‘53yrs’ – “admitted to various crimes and criminalities they have committed in Kwara Central Senatorial District under the guise of political thuggery for the Senate President.

He added that “they are currently under investigation and will be charged to court on completion of investigation”.

Moshood said Saraki was still under investigation, adding that the police would not be deterred in their investigation- no matter who is involved.

According to him, the confessions of the suspects showed that the Senate president had a case to answer.

He said: “The Nigeria Police Force will not be cowed or succumb to intimidation from any quarter in carrying out a thorough and discreet investigation into the Offa bank robbery where significant successes have been recorded.

“The ongoing investigation will be driven to a logical conclusion.

“The Senate President, Sen. Bukola Saraki, is still under investigation in connection to the Offa bank robbery and the Nigeria Police Force will do everything possible within the ambit of the law to ensure that justice is done in this case.”

Saraki was on Monday given a 48-hour deadline to send his written response to the police on his alleged link with the boys who said the Senate president and Kwara State Governor Abdufattah Ahmed armed and funded them.

Saraki and Ahmed have denied any involvement.

Our so called leaders knew each other’s atrocities against the masses, they only wait for opportunity to expose themselves based on personal grudges and not for rule of law to be effected. This case will remain in investigation while they settle themselves and the case will go offline before the public…. because this is Nigeria.

One thing I realize about we Nigerians is, we don’t want push at least a little bit, but we always expect that things will fall in places mysteriously by itself. This is a high profile case and we must not succumb until we get Justice for the deceased. Only people who were greatly affected are the one feeling the pain now.

I hate when we Nigerians are playing politics over the most pressing issue like this. Let’s support our law enforcement in order to get the Job done. Saraki should not be allowed to use his influence in this case and think he can get away with everything. Bissala did not pull the trigger before he was indicted and convicted in Muritala’s death. SarakI may not directly involved in actual robbery but may be charged for arming the robbers by buying them weapons.

We need to end the politics of godfatherism if we want this nation to be cleaned of crime. Prior to Offa robbery, the arrested criminals confessed that they have carried out deadly act for Saraki. It is a pay back time. As if this is not enough, Saraki is threatening to impeach Buhari as if they are not running the government together. Only two third of both upper and lower chamber can institute an impeachment proceedings. Is Saraki above the law to be immune from answering police questions? Nigerians let’s wake up and try to bring sanity back into this nation. The 36 innocent deceased must not die in vain. Justice must be served.

The Nigeria police force need to get this right. The political gang was not send to rubbery by Saraki. Get it right.. the gang did this at their own free will because they have connection with Saraki. So the case in the rubbery doesn’t have any link to Saraki.. but Saraki is they spoucnsor for political gang.. this means Saraki is encouraging the gang for his own personal interest,, but the leader of the gang is not content with the little money his getting from Saraki. So, he resided to rub a bank becauace he have connection in the government which is Saraki and the Kwara State government

People let wake up to reality and let forget about Saraki wealthy.lot of people can go back to history of Oredein in and Sunday Adewusi in 80s if study this issue seriously Saraki needs to be invited and question, If you hired a tthuds and you equipped with weapon .it is an offence anywhere in the world.secondly he was accompanied to Olofa palace to sympathise with Olofa and people of offa, thirdly Aso ebi.fouthly connection with Kwara state governor .his aides.chief of staff to kwara state governor,The car was in charge of governor aides .I believe they use those peoas middle men and cover themselves up in.Bukola Saralki realised that the cat has been let out of the basket.he now use diplomacy to raise false alarm that they are trying to rope him up on the on the issue of cultis. The gang leader already confess that they have section as Kwara east,south.north. Saraki used them always, sentiment apart,If the case swept under the carpet,Our country is in danger, The house member supporting Saraki in evil act,let Saraki investigate and interoogate truth has come out and is beyond covering up.NASS should be ashamed for their support for Saraki and they are trying to distabilise the President to prevent him to be investigate , this shows our country will not be a good country in the face of the world,
