November 27, 2016 – Seun Egbegbe Attempts To Kill Himself By Drinking Sniper Poison Over Shame, Doctors Called To His House In Ikeja

Nollywood filmmaker Seun Egbegbe attempted to take his own life on Saturday.

According to E247 Magazine source, the scandal-ridden movie maker who regained freedom from Kirikiri prison on Friday attempted suicide early Saturday morning over the shame the alleged theft brought over his family.

To cut the long story short, his family members made a distress call to a private hospital in Ikeja early Saturday morning.

Two medical doctors from the undisclosed hospital in Ikeja reportedly rushed to his home in Ikeja to attend to him.

The source who requested anonymity disclosed today that the viral photo of Seun on the social media was taken earlier this year and that he debunked the attempted suicide report to save himself from the preying media.

He is due back in court on the 18th of February 2017 to defend himself against the iPhone theft allegation.

Brother Seun, I will advise that you should not kill yourself because of shame that will son be over. If you commit suicide and die, your situation will be worse off in hell fire. I want to believe that your arrogant, wickedness, and stealing habit led you to this mess and shame, but killing yourself is not an option and definitely, not the solution. Anchor unto God for mercy, repent of all your wickedness done to your fellow humans, then God will rescue and give you the boldness from shame and redicules. The story will be over soon, and people will no longer talk about it. But please do not commit suicide. Biko!

From what I’ve read so far.. The guy said he wanted to get money from his car for the purchase of those phones… My question is “Did they find cash worth 2m in his car when he was apprehended? .. I can only believe this story if i get a “NO” from a reliable source.

I agree with you . Am surprised nobody mentioned this aspect of if he truly has money to pay for the phones in his car. On the other hand, the money could have been stolen by the anyone in the crowd when they descended on him. Though I don’t like this man but he might be saying the truth that he wanted to get the money from his car.

Kenkem, please do not try to give this guy unnecessary support. He did something awful and he’s trying to cover his act. The question is why did he take all 9 cell phone along with him into his car at a time to pick up some money?. Why did those friends of him ran away when they were caught. If this guy is sincere, he would have shown the people the money and those guys would have stand by him.

Kemkem, a thief will have something to say to justify his act. This is Nigeria, no Nigerian trader will allow you to walk away with his merchandize without paying fully first. If you want to prove me wrong go to Igbo traders in Mandillas or Idumota and collect their goods and walk away on the premise that you want to pick money inside your car and see what will happen to you. If he try to drink poison so be it. All he needs to do is to apologize and move on with his life. May be that will teach him how to be humble and live a low profile even if he had made his money in an honest way not by robbing or in a crooked way as he has been doing.

Most of the rich young guys that you see out there possessed unclean money not all of them but most of them. For the others crooked self acclaimed rich young millionaires like Seun, don’t think you are being smart, it is a matter of time before you all will be buried in shame.

This is complicated. Taking his own life wont stop anything, rather worsen the case.

If Getting money inside the car is yes, i believe the case should have ended there. Apart, how can u forget money inside car and take phones out of shop to do what? will phones run away if u leave them to pick up your money? is inside your car d place to settle d transaction of 9 heavy phones? many questions raised if he wants to prove innocent.
