Ex Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh who was arrested and charged to court last month is still battling to clear her name in court.
For those who know Dubai, a fine can be very expensive.
Sources in the know told NaijaGists.com that the actress has ran out of money and is doing all she could to gather enough fund to clear the fine and get her passport back.
“She is broke and has not been able to pay back all the fines. They will not release her passport until she finished paying the fine. Even if she finished paying the fines, it will take time for her to clear her name in court” – the source told NaijaGists.com
Now the concern is her son who is currently staying with a Nanny in Abuja.
The actress who used her celebrity status to get the custody of her only child with philanthropist Kunle Churchill is said to have abandoned him in Abuja.
Mr Churchill’s fear is the safety of Andre who has not been able to access his father since the actress was granted custody in 2017.
To cut the long story short, a source said the actress has changed Andre’s name from Andre Igo Oladunni Churchill to Andre Igo Dikeh, an abominable act!.
Kunle who pays N200,000 monthly allowance and school fees is said to have filed a case in court to get his son back from the now troubled actress.
According to Germany-based Nigerian blogger Stella Dimoko who broke the story, Tonto Dikeh’s passport is still with Dubai Police as she has an ongoing case in court and may not return to Nigeria for sometimes.
For those who don’t know, the passport Tonto Dikeh is showing off on the internet is not her new passport that was seized in Dubai.
Her son, Andre has stayed for over 5 weeks with a nanny in Abuja without the love of a father or mother.
Tonto, who has tried to liven up herself in Dubai, is an old image of herself. She not only has lost weight, she was complaining in an Instastory that she wants her fats back. She wrote that she is losing weight.
Now trying to be part of a female football group in Dubai, with the help of her current male friend over there, its obvious Tonto is stuck in that country!.
Here is what a source close to the actress told Stella’s source.
“Tonto is too temperamental whenever she is high on drug. The concern now is how to get her son from that nanny in Abuja because she could run short of money and food for herself and King Andre. What if she runs away and leaves the boy alone?” .

My candid advise for any Nigerian or anybody travelling to any strange Country is to comport themselves in accordance to the law of that host Country. If you visit any Country and you believe you can violate their laws and get away with it as you always do in Nigeria, you may get the unexpected surprise of your life. That may put a permanent scar on your record.
The issue is, we don’t have laws in Nigeria. Anybody can misbehave, ignore the authority and nothing will come out of it. Running your mouth can earn you jail time in some Countries not even in Arab Nations where they don’t have respect for black people let alone Nigerians. Tonto Dike thought because she is having that title as celebrity she can talk to anybody anyhow!!! the result is the humiliation she’s facing now. Your being a celebrity ended in Nigeria even most of the World”s number one celebrities follow the rules and adhere to the norms of their visiting Countries. I think this will teach you a good lesson and gives you another thought on how to interact with people. That guy showed you that you cannot disrespect him as you do to your corrupt law enforcement officers. Hope you have learnt a big way.
