A newborn baby died yesterday during a stampede that broke out at the premises of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in Birnin Kebbi area af Kebbi stat.e
The mother of the 5-day-old baby boy was among the less privileged who came to get food for her family.
According to an eyewitness, Aisha, the mother of the baby was carrying the 25kg of rice that was given to her group when the crowd that gathered on the premises suddenly rushed towards her. In the process, the baby fell from her back and was immediately trampled to death.

This is what poverty as caused, how come ur child was not properly strapped to d back, its not as if the child was taken from her, dis is carelessness of d highest order.
