Yewande Fatoki’s Landlord Testifies In Court, Says She Stabbed Husband Lowo Oyediran During Fight

The hearing of Oyo state lawyer, Barrister Yewande Oyediran accused of killing her husband Lowo Oyediran resumed at the Oyo State High Court in Ibadan yesterday.

One of the three witnesses presented by the prosecution at the resumed hearing, Chief Akinpelu Adelodun who was the couple’s landlord told Justice Muktar Abimbola that he witnessed the first part of the argument that led to Oyelowo’s murder.

Adelodun said he made an attempt to calm the couple down but Yewande insisted that she would injure her husband.

Injured Lowo Oyediran hours to his death

He added that the argument continued till around 3am and at that point, Yewande calmed down.

He added that he heard a terrible noise around 6am of the same day before rushing to the couple’s apartment where he saw Lowo in the pool of blood.

He was the one who called police to the murder scene.

Adelodun who denied ever requesting for transport fare ordered that the cheque given to him be returned to the court.

    Hmmm a lawyer, somebody who knows and interpret the law.
