Atiku Abubakar Hires Lobbyists To Force US To Recognize Him As The President Of Nigeria

PDP Presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has employed the services of a US lobbyist firm to advance his challenge of the outcome of the February 23 presidential polls.

President Muhammadu Buhari defeated Atiku with over three million votes in the election but he rejected the results and filed a suit before the presidential election petition tribunal challenging the process which he said was “heavily militarised” and results manipulated.

According to a report by Centre for Responsive Politics (CRP), Bruce Fein, former justice department official and his firm Fein & DelValle PLLC registered on March 24 as foreign agents on behalf of PDP and Atiku.

The firm is expected to “encourage Congress and the executive to forbear from a final declaration and recognition of Nigeria’s February 23, 209 presidential election until outstanding legal challenges to the initial government of Nigeria assertion that incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari was the victor are impartially and independently resolved by the supreme court of Nigeria without political or military influence, intimidation or manipulation”.

Atiku is seeking to be recognised by the US as the president of Nigeria, and halt the final declaration of Buhari as the president until the matter is ruled upon by the supreme court.

According to the firm, parts of its services on behalf of Atiku includes to “Meet and consult with members of Congress and staff in an effort to pass House and Senate resolution(s) to forebear from a final declaration and recognition of a winner of the 2019 Federal Republic of Nigeria presidential election pending legal challenges to the initial assertion that incumbent President Buhari was the victor are impartially and independently resolved by the Nigerian judiciary in accordance with the rule of law and due process, free from military or political influence

“Draft articles and op-ed pieces to spotlight the issues in Nigeria post-2019 presidential election arid to promote the rule of law and due process in resolving electoral disputes in Nigeria.

“Make television and other media appearances to engage in public advocacy discussions of these issues.”

In a letter replying Atiku’s request for their services, the firm said a “Nigerian barrister and trusted confidant of Your-Excellency Dr. Lloyd Ukwu, will assist in the operations of the U.S. Situation Room”

It added that Fein will be paid $30,000 over a 90-day contract.

The firm said its lobbying effort will demonstrate that an Atiku presidency is “the will of the People.”

It added that its services will convince the United States that an “Abubakar presidency” will open a fresh and new chapter in Nigerian politics, while “highlight the declining rule of law, democracy and clue process in Nigeria under the APC and the current administration.”

It said it will establish that if Atiku “is denied victory”, problems like genocide, poverty, corruption and strife will “undoubtedly continue.”

Do you know that the Independent National Electoral Commission and the All Progressives Congress have till Thursday to file their responses to the election petition jointly filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, challenging the outcome of the February 23 presidential election? I will advice you not to narrow your mind on atiku’s quest of hiring lobbyst to force US to recognize him as the president of Nigeria. What Atiku is currently doing is simply exploring all options on the table to fight a legal battle of retrieving his mandate stolen by APC corrupt party. Their are already abundance of evidences at PDP disposal to fight this battle in the law court in order to unseat the self-imposed president of Nigeria who used his proxy machine–the non independent national electoral commission–to force his way back into power. If you call Atiku a fool, it then mean you are only following a misleading popular opinion of condemnation against him without any merit to such verbal abuse. Then I wonder what you will call the respondent who is yet to challenge the lawsuit atiku file against him in the court if he truly won the election. Look! You might latter be forced to applaud Atiku and extol him for his boldness and moral strenth he exhibited in fighting for his right when he finally regain and reclaim his mandate from a highly corrupt party ever produced in Nigerian history.

I don’t think this man has work to do. Must you become President of this nation before you realized you stood a dead fellow. From your reactions even during your tenure of vice President, you victimized Obasanjo by plotting to unseat him by the national Assembly then. Mind you, America whom you thought could help you by your fake recognition are not themselves practising real democracy. How on earth could 300 people override the over 2,000,000 votes in the name of electoral college. Again, their election was characterised by rigging and hacking as alleged by democrats by Russians. This same Russian were used to hack again into Inec server here forging fake results for this fake man.

Abubakar Case History. From 2000 to 2008, Jennifer Douglas, a U.S. citizen and the fourth wife of Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President and former candidate for President of Nigeria, helped her husband bring over $40 million in suspect funds into the United States through wire transfers sent by offshore corporations to U.S. bank accounts. In a 2008 civil complaint, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission alleged that Ms. Douglas received over $2 million in bribe payments in 2001 and 2002, from Siemens AG, a major German corporation. While Ms. Douglas denies wrongdoing, Siemens has already pled guilty to U.S. criminal charges and settled civil charges related to bribery and told the Subcommittee that it sent the payments to one of her U.S. accounts. In 2007, Mr. Abubakar was the subject of corruption allegations in Nigeria related to the Petroleum Technology Development Fund.
Of the $40 million in suspect funds, $25 million was wire transferred by offshore corporations into more than 30 U.S. bank accounts opened by Ms. Douglas, primarily by Guernsey Trust Company Nigeria Ltd., LetsGo Ltd. Inc., and Sima Holding Ltd. The U.S. banks maintaining those accounts were, at times, unaware of her PEP status, and they allowed multiple, large offshore wire transfers into her accounts. As each bank began to question the offshore wire transfers, Ms. Douglas indicated that all of the funds came from her husband and professed little familiarity with the offshore corporations actually sending her money. When one bank closed her account due to the offshore wire transfers, her lawyer helped convince other banks to provide a new account.
In addition, two of the offshore corporations wire transferred about $14 million over five years to American University in Washington, D.C., to pay for consulting services related to the development of a Nigerian university founded by Mr. Abubakar. American University accepted the wire transfers without asking about the identity of the offshore corporations or the source of their funds, because under current law, the University had no legal obligation to inquire.

Atikulooser, please go and sit down and figure out what next you want to do with your life. As far as this concluded election is concerned, it’s long gone. Stop this foolishness because the United States has already recognized and congratulated Buhari on his re-election. Why do you think US will rescind that word and declare you as the winner?

Again, why do think US will intervene in a case that is already in court? you even have little chance in Nigeria judiciary than going through lobbyists. So, you think Donald Trump and the Congress of the United States do not have other pressing issues order than thinking about how Atiku will be declared as the president of Nigeria.

Atikulooter, forget about thinking of becoming the President of Federal Republic. You are not credible to run a school let alone the whole Country. Your desperation is to steal, to ruin and to destroy. Nigeria doesn’t need someone like you as a leader. You bribe a lobbyist $30,000 in order to help you claim the lost mandate, fool! you are a looser. I don’t think the money you paid is enough to lobby through presidency. It looks to me you have been yahooed by a White man. This always happens other way round.

Atiku, stop listening to some advisors who are deceiving you to go through that route, they just want you to part with what you have stolen from from Nigerian people. Do not compare this case to Venezuela, the US has never recognized the incumbent but in case of Buhari, he has been reaffirmed as the winner. Atikudumb, go and have a rethink. You are the wrong choice for PDP. May be another credible candidate might have won that election against Buhari if PDP got one. PDP destroyed itself the first day you are being nominated as their headman.
