Kaduna State Police command today paraded two suspected members of the Boko Haram sect and 30 robbery suspects, including a former Air force officer, accused of terrorizing the state over the past two months. naijagists.com

The police said the Boko Haram suspects were arrested in their hideout at Tudun Wada area, of the city of Kaduna following a raid by the police.

The arrest came barely three days after a joint military operation combed Wusasa, Zaria during which two members of the sect were killed and several others arrested.

Addressing newsmen at the Police Headquarters, Kaduna, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Aminu Lawan disclosed that dangerous weapons such as two AK 47 rifles, grenades, laptops, handsets, life ammunitions, cable wires, jerry cans filled with dangerous chemicals, i-pad were recovered from the hideout of the suspected sect members both at Zaria and Kaduna within the last three days.

According to him, the recovered items were used in the manufacturing of explosives.

PM reports that among the paraded robbery suspects is one Solomon Adoge, a native of Zuru in Kebbi state who claimed to be a dismissed Fight lieutenant in the Nigerian Air force.

He told newsmen that he took to robbery after he was dismissed from the Air Force.
