Buhari Visit Paralyses Easter Activities In Lagos As Traffic Jam Takes Over State

buhari visit lagos crashes easter celebration

Lagosians are not smiling as President Buhari’s arrival in the Sunshine state has caused more harm than good.

The controversial president who arrived Lagos today has been blamed for one of the worst traffic jam in the city as motorists were forced to stay inside traffic for long hours while business owners were seeing trekking to their workplaces.

Among other things Buhari did on his arrival today is the commissioning of the new Ikeja bus terminal among others.

This is what some of the residents said this afternoon:

A shop owner at Eko Hotel said:

“i don tire for this Lagos. Everyday na suffer suffer. See mee trekking all the way from CMS to Barbeach. The suffering dey too much. Infact, i can’t really express my anger, i just want to go.”

Another resident, a bank teller said:

”These people are just plain wicked. They have no feelings at all for the struggling man. They create hardship for people under filmsy excuses. I don’t know what to say again,  the suffering is too much, just because one person is coming to town so you have to lock up the whole place. It’s unfair”.

Most Christians in Lagos are of the opinion that Buhari intentionally made the visit to crash Easter celebration in the state.

Many Christians are very worried as Buhari will still be in the state tomorrow, Good Friday.

Lagos is not a place where traffic should be tampered with because anybody is entering into the state. It is a big sign of underdevelopment that people’s lives should be made miserable because of one person. What is the benefit of his visit to Lagosians? Absolute zero!
