May 24, 2016 – Corpses Of 2 Missing Indian Climbers Found Dead On Mount Everest Can’t Be Retrieved – Nepal Tourism Ministry
Rescuers have found the bodies of two climbers from India who went missing on Mount Everest over the weekend.
According to Gyanendra Shrestha, an official of Nepal’s Tourism Ministry, the lifeless bodies of the deceased Indian climbers would be impossible to carry down since it is at such a great height that could jeopardize the lives of rescuers.
The three bodies of a Dutchman, an Indian and an Australian who died of altitude sickness on Saturday have been retrieved because they were located at a lower elevation of 8600 feet.
Shrestha said 450 had climbed the mountain successfully this year.
