Fatal Accident On Enugu Onitsha Expressway: Many Killed In Head on Collision

At least 20 people died on Sunday after a commercial vehicle collided head on with another vehicle on the Enugu Onitsha expressway.

According to eyewitnesses, everyone inside one of the passenger vehicles involved in the fatal crash died on the spot while several others were rushed the hospital.

The ghastly crash caused traffic jam along the popular highway yesterday.

The Umunya axis of the expressway where the fatal crash happened yesterday was abandoned by the contractor.

The dual carriage has become a nightmare for motorists as it can only be described as a death trap where countless die every week.
