Fayose: APC Sponsored Obanikoro’s Return To Blackmail Me

Oct 20, 2016 – Fayose: APC Sponsored Obanikoro’s Return To Blackmail Me

Ex-minister of Defence Musiliu Obankoro’s confession to the EFCC appears to be rattling Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose.

Obanikoro claimed that he gave Fayose over 2 billion naira, which came from the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.) in the run-up to the June 21, 2014 governorship election in Ekiti State.

Apparently troubled by Obanikoro’s evidence, Fayose, in a statement made available to reporters yesterday, alleged that the ex-minister’s return from the United States was “arranged and compromised” in a bid to nail him (Fayose).

The governor also described Obanikoro’s surrender to the EFCC as part of “Fayose-Must-Be-Implicated-At-All-Cost” project, urging the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government to channel its energy towards providing food for hungry Nigerians.

Dismissing the claim that Obanikoro had confessed to the EFCC on the receipt of funds from Dasuki to sponsor his 2014 governorship campaign, Fayose said he was only reacting just to fulfil all righteousness because Nigerians are more interested in having food on their tables.

“We have gone beyond this stage of media trial. EFCC should rather keep its gun powder dry. When we get to the bridge, we will cross it. They said more than this in the 2006 poultry scam blackmail. Despite that, I am the governor today.”
“Those who arranged the dramatic and compromised return of Senator Obanikoro to Nigeria obviously did so in continuation of their project ‘Fayose must be implicated at all cost’ but I am not bothered because my election was legitimately funded.

“However, if this is why they are intimidating judges and the judiciary, it won’t work as far as my own matter is concerned as no one can play God.

“As far as I am concerned, I am busy here in Ekiti attending to the welfare and well-being of my people. I won’t be distracted.”

I just pray that Fayose is completely innocent of all the allegations levelled against him. But if not. I will plead with him to stop using God’s name repeatedly if unsure of his innocence. God can not be mocked. There is no way God almighty may not fight a battle for an un-repented soul.

@Ego u just spoke my mind! When a mobile police friend of mine was telling me that Fayose is a drug addict, I didn’t believe him, but now I understand better. These criminals are the reason nigerians are passing through this hardship 2day, and some wretched nigerians who cannot even boast of 2 square meal a day will be shouting witch hunting! Supporting evil men that consumed the future of their children. I think Buhari is even too soft on these looters. By the end of the day this case will be swept under the carpet and this mad dog will have more strenght to talke rubbish. When Tope Aluko was telling the people how huge amount of money was given to fayose many nigeris where calling him names.

Please Fayose hold it right there! You think you are so smart and you can thwart all Nigerians by coming up with your silliness excuses by saying Nigeria need food on their table of course everybody needs to put food on his/her table but your kleptomaniac act had made it immpossible by contributing to the current on going recession.

Do not come here and change the topic. You never knew Obanikoro will testify against you. You think it is going to be politics as usual. Forget about politics for now because you are not the only one being investigated. You also mentioned about harassing the Judges, are they not guilty with the evidence found against them? Just try to talk about yourself. You are only interested in welfare of your family and continuing lying to your people.

Fayose, the prophesy against you must be fulfilled and very soon and you will be disgraced out of the office because the position which you are occupying now does not belong to you. Law of Karma is now hunting you. If you falsefully get something that doesn’t belong to you, it’s not going to last. You stole that mandate from Dr. Fayemi using your touts and the Military to harass innocent Ekiti people now it is time for you to relinquish that seat.
