Dis is not empowerment. You earmark N200million just for this purpose.
You are a thief, if u really wanna empower dem, set them up for thriving businesses.

Bribery, not empowerment. How far will N20,000 go? Perhaps they will eat decent meals for three weeks in Nigeria’s economy today. There’s no accountability in Nigeria, otherwise how can he explain where the money is coming from? Nobody will challenge or hold him to account, as if it’s their inheritance. These women would rather have good health care where they can deliver babies safely and better education that will guarantee their children’s future and enables them measure up to their counterparts anywhere in the world, than the miserable money they are distributing. You guys travel overseas and see how things work. You even receive medical treatment overseas and educate your children overseas. Are you cursed with a curse???You hand out wheel barrows to youths and grandpa’s sIze shoes that won’t fit school children’s feet in 5 years and call it youth empowerment. Can you in good conscience offer your own children what you are offering Nigerians? Ori yin buru ni? Are your heads enchanted with evil?Like someone said, who did Nigeria offend to get this type of leaders?

Such amount can start and finish a good project which will benefit everyone in that state, why Nigeria politicians are so wicked and merciless? You people always cry no money to pay workers, seeing people and environment look like pig farm makes you guys happy…. I don’t just get it.

Its as if all the sane people in this country have been chained and the crazy people let loose. Such is the case of the leaders we are seeing in this country

DB, I’m with you on this. You’ve just made a good reference as to what is going on in this Country. Good people have allowed bad people to hijack the affairs of this great nation. That is why we are in this mess.

This guy is a fool. All he needs to do is to hire some expert who can show him how to create jobs. If you don’t understand how to run a status quo, then you ask. Dolling out 200 million is nothing but careless spending. In Nigeria, we don’t run a merit based system and nobody is held accountable for mismanaging state funds, that is why somebody like Fayose can just run the state as if he is running his bedroom affairs.
That money can be used to create jobs which many jobless people can secure a permanent job. For example if that kind of money can be used to construct 5000 kilometres of road between Ekiti and Ondo state. Apart from providing a job for the job seekers, the tax derive from each vehicle plying that road can go towards maintenance of that road. That is to say some workers will be hired permanently to fix the road and as a result of that, the farmer can easily transport their produce to the city, there will be ease on traffic congestion. This is what Oyinbo people do by creating a job for their citizen. This is just one way of creating a job. There are some other ways too.
Most of our governors knew nothing about governance. You don’t run the government by flipping your Agbada. You need to roll your sleeves and work with the expert, that is the only way you can be commended for job well done.
