Naijagists.com just learnt that former super eagles stricker, Rashidi Yekini who passed away on Friday night at the age of 49 died of acute depression. naijagists.com
The depression trails the loss of his childhood friend, Ibraheem, who happens to be his business partner managing all his monies which he invested in foreign exchange trading in Sabo area of Ibadan.
Rashidi Yekini Died Of Acute Depression
Since then, he never recovered from the shock as he was sometimes seen walking around the city of Ibadan barefooted and talking to himself.
He was said to be living in his house in Ibadan all by himself and defied all help offered to him by close associates as he finds it very difficult to trust people.
Rashidi is survived by three wives and three children. His remains will be committed to mother earth on Saturday at his native town, Ira, in Kwara State.
