Lancelot Imasuen Visits Kenneth Okonkwo’s House In Abuja, Set To Mobilize Nollywood Actors For Him

In solidarity with Okonkwo, ace filmmaker, Lancelot Imasuen led a strong delegation to his Abuja home, pledging to throw his weight behind Okonkwo’s ambition as well as mobilise the Nollywood family for him.

“I will rally support for you because you are a Nollywood’s pride,” Imasuen declared, adding, “We need young, brilliant and courageous men like you at this point, in Nigerian politics. I must confess that you took this decision at the right time and you have my total and unalloyed support in your bid to salvage Enugu’s pride,” Imasuen said.

In his response, Okonkwo said:

“Am proud to be a Thespian. The Ace Internationally decorated Nollywood Director and Producer, Lancelot Imasuen, led a delegation of Nollywood Practitioners on a courtesy visit to my Abuja abode to endorse my Gubernatorial quest to lead Enugu State. He vowed to support the aspiration with everything he has. He noted that Enugu State has been pivotal in the development of Nollywood and it will be best for Nollywood to have one of our own, especially the man who started Nollywood as the first actor, on the driving seat in the State to help us realize our Nollywood dreams.
