Oct 28, 2011 – Man Arraigned for Planning To Bomb Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos

One Fafana Sekon was on Friday arraigned before an Abuja Chief Magistrates’ Court, for allegedly seeking a volunteer to bomb the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos for the Boko-Haram sect.

Police Prosecutor Danjuma Etobi told the court that the suspect was arrested on Sept. 5, 2011 by the operatives of Lagos CID Annex, attached to Area G, Ogba Police Station, Lagos.

He said the patrol team found a text message sent by the accused to his friends through his blackberry chat, informing them of the plot.

“Boko Haram has offered to pay $5 million to anybody that would volunteer to bomb down the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos.’’

Etobi said the accused was charged with belonging to an unlawful society which contravened section 97B of the Penal Code Law.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge but Chief Magistrate Okeagu Azubuike ordered he be remanded in prison custody.

The case was adjourned  to Dec.1 , for hearing.  (NAN)

Please the Chief Judge shouldn’t wast his time in giving his final judgement on this so called Boko Haram sect. Anybody found with bomb should be killed immidately. Nigeria should take this fouls serious, no amnesty should be giving to Boko haram. Check out U.S.A they don’t play with Al Quda at all, President Goodluck should act fast and he must be brave like a man, we Nigerians knows the man behind Boko haram; I wounder why Goodluck as a president is afraid of Muhamdu Buhari who is the head of Boko haram. That’s why I like OBJ because he can never ever take it light with Buhari if he is still the president. Arrest Buhari and there will be no more BOKO HARAM SECT in Nigeria.
