The family members and fans of Jamaican beauty Kaci Fennell’s are not ok with the way she was sidelined during the show in Miami yesterday.
The grandpa of the diva, Michael Fennell, said he believe her short hair was the reason she lost to Miss Colombia.
In his words: ‘If short hair is a problem why didn’t they say so in the contest? In my mind she was absolutely beautiful in her short hair. ‘She was different but if the judges didn’t want short hair then say so. ‘I wish I knew how these contests were judged where there are other factors that are unwritten that have to be considered’.
After 22-year-old Paulina Vega was crowned the winner of the beauty contest, the audience erupted in boos of disapproval as their favourite queen Miss Jamaica Kaci Fennell only made it to the 5th place.
To voice out their disapproval of Miss Fennell’s loss, the hashtag #MissJamaicaShouldHaveWon is now trending on Twitter.

Honestly speaking she should have won. she looked beautiful and gracious, very elegant and she answered her questions very well. i was surprised when she was removed. is it because her step faulted a little when she was walking with that musician while he was singing at the last moment? she even carried on without losing her confidence. to me she ought to be the best. even that miss america didnt do better than her. all those top 10 people, when asked a question, they will be answering offpoint and not answering the question properly. most of those girls were all beauty without brains. every right thinking person can see that she is an intelligent lady. to me she won. una go carry person wey no sabi speak english as miss universe.

all these illiterates commenting, if you watched it, you will see that she ought to have won. if you actually have a brain in your head. that lady is intelligent, elegant and graceful. most of the other girls looked like beauties without brains. they couldn’t even answer their questions properly. when asked what their country has done for the benefit of the world, they answered off point. miss Jamaica was the only one who answered reasonably.
