Sunday August 14, 2011 – Governor Jonah Jang hasapproved the appointed of his son, Yakubu Jang, as the special adviser on Special Duties alongside 20 other special advisers to “strengthen government’s machinery to serve the people well”.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Shedrack Best. The former Plateau State Correspondent of The Nation newspaper, Ayuba Pam Dangwong, has also been appointed as special adviser on Media and Publicity.
Also appointed is the immediate past Commissioner for Finance, Clara Gang as special adviser, Statistics, Monica Gwom, special adviser on Women Mobilisation and Irene Piental as special adviser, Rural Transformation.
The Chief of Staff to former governor Joshua Dariye, Nde Alexander Molwus, is now the special adviser to the governor on Political Affairs. Also reappointed was the Special Advisers, Isa Chungwom Song, Legislative Liaison, Gyang Choji, Religious (Christianity Affairs), Dauda Lamba, Legal Matters and Nuhu Musa, Security.
Others are Danjuma Daniel, Ethical Reorientation; K.K. Vongdip, Youth Mobilisation; David Zoyong, Inter-Governmental Relations; Thomas H. Gofwan, Non-Governmental Agencies, (NGOs) and Nyeng Gyang, Information and Communication Technology, Sam Karuri, Project Monitoring; Timothy Parlong, Peace-Building;
Also appointed are Adamu Bala, Tourism; Nasiru Goshi, Religion (Islamic affairs), Moses Dongo, Community Relations and Timothy Kumtong, Labour Matters, the appointees would be inaugurated on Friday, August 12, 2011 at the Government House, Rayfield, Jos. Daily times
