Security Operatives besieged the Edo State House of Assembly in Benin City as early as 5.30Am today to enforce peace at the house. If we can remember last week the speaker of the house was forcefully removed.
The House was shut down and reopen today with the election of a new female speaker.
Security operatives were sent in this morning to prevent the kind of show down that happened last week. See photos of the law enforcement officials stationed in front of the building today

D Hunter mind yourself! Wet in Concern you with women jubilation? This 30% women have been dreaming of to no avail, you begrudge us the small glimmer of hope that we women will overcome all obstacles and get there some day?

You got me wrong. Why should I be looking for you trouble? Do you know as a trouble maker? Afterall you appear to be the only Aunty we have on this Site, a prolific position just like in any society, there must be a Hunter/s and I am represnting in that regards.
