April 10, 2016 – Sanusi Says Jonathan Behind Economic Hardship In Nigeria, Urges Buhari To Fix It

Kano’s Emir, Mallam Muhammad Sanusi II has blamed the previous administration led by Goodluck Jonathan for the lingering economic hardship in Nigeria.

Sanusi, the former Central Bank of Nigeria governor attributes the current hardship to the way and manner previous administration handled the affairs of the nation.

He stated this when Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo visited him on Saturday during a working visit to the northern state of Kano.

Speaking on the economic hardship, Sanusi, however, called on the government to find lasting solution to the hardship.

The emir also advised government to step up effort in enlightening Nigerians on the nation’s economic situation.

  1. Economic problem has always been a part of Nigeria even before the arrival of Goodluck…when last did we enjoy in this country without complain? Nigeria was better before late 80’s …Nigerians could afford a brand new car, how many Nigerians could afford a new car during Obj’s tenure. Sanusi should better focus on his Emirship and leave the Jonathan he help to remove from office to rest. APC told Nigeria that it has almighty formular to solve Nigeria problem…is it jonathan that increased dollar against naira? Is it jonathan ban importation of rice when local production is insufficient? This Emir is unreasonable confused.

    • enlighten dem more my broda…any single thing dis fools dat greatly contributed in d present situation nigeria is 2day ill lay dere blames on GEJ…non ill talk abt his greatest achievement rubbish

  2. The problem we r facing in this country didn’t start today and can’t end if necessary actions are not taken. This Administration is full of excuses. Fix Nigeria!

  3. Dear Activist, forgive my Ibo but you are a tribalist fool. Buhari did not rule the country when the price of the oil was $110 but your Jonathan did, nobody increased the price of dollar against the naira, oil price fell you PDP dog.You and you alone are the problem of Nigeria. Oloshi

  4. Emir is taking side. They keep saying the past administration is the cause of the hardship we’re facing in the country, yet they refuse to fix it. Perhaps when we start protesting from city to city, state by state, something will be done. Let PMB stop his travelling schedule and look for a lasting solution. We’re sick and tired of the hardship in the country

  5. IF SANUSI TRUELY KNOWS THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEMS, WHY CAN’T HE FIX IT THEN? I SUGGEST HE STOPS POINTING FINGERS.

  6. APC is afraid of moving…its confused…no idea…they begged europe and usa for support to win election…after election still no bearing…no light, no petrol, no money, no dollar, no everything, no quality ministers, no road constructed, no nothing…God dey.

  7. Activist #2 or whatever you call yourself, you are just a novice, that’s what you are for calling somebody names.
