May 20,2016 – Serah Luka Not Among The Kidnapped Chibok School Girls – Bring Back Our Girls Leader Faults The Nigerian Army

The head of the Abducted Chibok Girls Parents group, Yakubu Nkeki has come after the Nigerian army for claiming that Serah Luka is a Chibok girl.

Nkeki said the Nigerian military didn’t contact the group to confirm Serah Luka’s identity before making it public.

serah luka not a chibok girl

According to Yakubu Nkeki, the two girls with the Surname Luka on the abducted girl were not from Madagali as the military said the second student had claimed.

“I can say in my capacity as the head of the Chibok Abducted Girls Parents group that this girl is not among the abducted Chibok girls,” he told AFP.

In response to his claim, the military said

“We can only change our position if the principal of the school or the government of Borno state come out and refute this established identity of the girl.”

Let’s hope this one is not a ‘wuruwuru’ claim o.

Now that Amina has seen Oga on top in Abuja, all the girls may want to find their way to the top.

We shall see how this unfolds.

  1. This is not the first time that some girl is tagged Chibok only to proove something else eventually. It is very necessary to conduct a thorough investigation on every woman’s identity who is found in the Sambisa before going public with their faces. A school of thought still maintains even to this day that the whole Chibok kidnap is a scam. Doesn’t this kind of thing give credence to their claims? Why would the military be so swift to publish a Chibok story when any other girl could have been kidnapped and held hostage in the Sambisa?

  2. nawa ooo, we story are we to believe now, abi because the girl dey bear Christian name naim make dem won deny d gril

  3. What does it matter that she is not a Chibok girl? Her relatives must have been grieving her loss and will be glad to have her back. The return of a loved one is a joy because a particular pain is lessened so we should not split hair over the lack of celebrity status of the non-Chibok returnee girls when every person rescued alive is a miracle and deserves to be celebrated also

  4. This is why I hate this country. Now that the chibok girls found are being treated well, others will claim that they’re also kidnapped.
