Alex Badeh Dead: Retired Chief Of Defence Staff Killed By Assassins Along Abuja Keffi Expressway
Retired military officer, Alex Badeh has died.
The former Chief of Defence staff was killed alongside his driver yesterday Tuesday the 18th of December 2018 while returning from his farmland.
According to police investigation, the former CDS standing trial for embezzlement of fund was shot dead by some suspected hired killers who attacked him on the dreaded Abuja-Keffi Road in Abuja yesterday evening.
Military sources said the former CDS was not in the company of military escort expected of his rank because he went to his farm.
Badeh who sustained serious injuries after his vehicle came under attack was rushed to a military hospital at Abacha Barracks where he breathe his last breath.
His driver reportedly died on the spot.
Badeh, an indigene of Mubi LGA of Adamawa state died at the age of 61.
The deceased who joined the Air Force in 1979 was promoted to Air Vice Marshal on January 3, 2008.
He was promoted to his last rank by former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Before his untimely death, Badeh was being tried by the EFCC for diverting billions of Naira meant for arm acquisition.

Another high powered assasination after the army gen who was murdered on that zone month ago.election don start and these hired machineries are now on high gear for the kill..let us be mindful on where we go,vehicle we enter and who we associate it.even the babysitter,cook or gardener can be bought to get to the target..blood shed in this nation this year alone is heart wrenching.rip

It’s more important to me to find out when the military is going to put the US soldiers over there in rotation and send them back home it’s been long enough the Nigerian military has been trained well enough by The Americans
