The police in Ogun State on Tuesday said they had arrested a 22-year-old man, Giraima Suri, suspected to be a member of Boko Haram in Isheri-Kara area of Ifo Local Government.
The police said the suspect from Bulunkutu Kasuwa, Maiduguri, Borno State, was arrested by detectives acting on a tip-off.
The command added that the suspect had already confessed his membership of the sect.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement in Abeokuta said the suspect told policemen that he fled Maiduguri to the South-West following aggressive manhunt for members of the sect by security operatives in the Borno State capital.
Adejobi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, said, “The suspect also confessed that he participated in the killing of many innocent Nigerians before the declaration of the state of emergency in three states, including Borno by the Federal Government.
“The command commends the good people of Ogun State for their collaboration and sharing of information that enabled the police to be proactive in preventing crimes and criminality in the state.”
Adejobi further said state Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, reassured the public of adequate protection of lives and property as well the confidentiality of any information given to the police.

The apprehended suspect stands a better chance to disclose the whereaboults of their leader shekeu. So my pretty advise is that the police should take it easy on him, so that he can help them with a full package of the bokos’plans upon interrogations.

One thing I want us all to perceive is this, this people (Boko Haram) does not know what they are doing because all that the devil make them to believe is that, they are worshipping God by killing Christians. So no matter what happen, even if all of them are killed and only one remain, he will still not stop because he want to make heaven and be rewarded. The devil has blinded them so much that they detest Jesus and anyone who follow Him, and also does not allow them to see Christ as the only savior of the whole world and receive Him as their savior. Satan is working tirelessly to if feasible get everyone on earth into his kindom, So those who have Jesus in their lives should please hold Him very well and not use your own hands to send Him away because He Himself will not live you. May God help us amen.

Since the beginning of BOKO HARAM, 70% of the people killed are Muslims. Not saying anything but I think we should keep praying so the Lord will deal with BOKO HARAM and not THE MUSLIMS. I know I won’t like it if a christian group is killing people and everybody will just be insulting and cursing Christians. Let’s be wise and show them we are not fools.
