20-year-old Catarina has sold her virginity to a Japanese man for $780,000 on the 24th of Oct, 2012.

The Japanese man identified as NATSU bought her virginity for £487,000.

Catarina who earlier planned to use her virginity proceeds to build home for homeless poor people has changed her mind.

According to a Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo, Catarina said she’ll use the money to study medicine in Argentina.

Here is what Catarina said.

“I am 20, I am responsible for my body and I am not hurting anyone,” she said.

“For me, it’s not prostitution. When someone does something once in his or her life, this is not considered a profession. If you take a picture and it comes out good, you are not a photographer because of it.”
