Governor Oshiomhole Blasts Jonathan For Comparing Self To Obama & Martin Luther King Jr
March 13, 2015 – Governor Adams Oshiomhole Blasts Jonathan For Comparing Self To Obama & Martin Luther King Jr
Governor Adams Oshiomhole who spoke on Friday in Benin City during a visit by residents and various associations in Egor Local Government Area to thank him for the construction and dualisation of the Upper Siluko road in the state capital, said President Jonathan should go beyond empty jingles and truly emulate President Mandela who spent only a single term but impacted on the lives of all South Africans.
“Like in the PDP jingle, the PDP says our President is like Nelson Mandela; it was not easy, but he did it. Then they talked of Martin Luther King, it was not easy but he did it, but they didn’t know Martin Luther was never president. Then they made another grammatical error, where they said for Obama it wasn’t easy but he did it. I say it’s a grammatical error because President Obama is not in the past, he is in the present and he is doing it.
“So how many terms did Nelson Mandela do as president? Is there any black man who does not respect Mandela? Dead or alive, Mandela is respected. He is respected in America more than they respect the American president. He is respected in Europe more than they respect any European President,” Oshiomhole said.
The governor noted that it is not how many years that Jonathan stayed on president that mattered but what he did during the period.
“In Edo State, PDP did 10 years. We in APC have only done 6 years. In those 10 years, PDP did not do your road, they blamed it on Water Goddess (Mammy water), but you have come to thank us for using APC bulldozers to chase away the mammy water and now we are constructing the road.”
Oshiomhole reminded the people that they have the power to send the President and the PDP packing on 28 March with their Permanent Voter’s Cards, PVC, by voting for General Muhammadu Buhari and other All Progressives Congress candidates, adding, “I urge you to use your PVC on March 28 and April 11th to punish PDP and send them packing.”
While calling on the people to shun campaigns which tend to divide the people along religious lines, Oshiomhole said the issue at stake is not whether you are a Christian or you are a Muslim or whether you are from the north or from the south, east or west but about who has the capacity to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of this nation.
“Anyone who collects money to preach hatred to the people will receive the wrath of God. Anybody who does not want Nigeria to conduct peaceful elections or who knows the truth but collects money to lie and deceive the people of God will receive the Judgment of God.
“In Edo State, religion is not a problem. Let them not deceive us at all, this matter is about truth. 16 years ago, N75 was equivalent to $1 but today, it is N230 to one dollar. The hike in the value of the dollar against the naira will have spiral effect on the economy. If the dollar goes up, it affects all other segments of the economy. Prices of other products will go up,” Oshiomhole said.
Earlier in an address, Chairman, Sawmillers Association, Egor Branch, Mr. Lucky Odeh, who spoke on behalf of the residents of Upper Siluko, said they were in Government House to appreciate the Comrade Governor and to salute his courage and determination in enhancing the lives of Upper Siluko residents and its environs.
“The fear of the unknown, the appearance of Mami Water, the goddess of water had prevented previous governments from even attempting to work on the road because no one was willing to die for the people. You took the bull by the horn, approached it with courage and determination and today, the story is better told than imagined,” Odeh said.

It is a pity that Nigeria has for the past six years a president who make mockery of himself whenever he talks or appear among world leaders. By His unprofessional mode of dressing, his utterances, and his posture, it doesn’t take a psychic to know that he is very unintelligent, low mentality and highly daft. How can a dullard like president Jonathan compared himself to competent president like president Barrack Obama of the U.S, great Nelson Mandela of South Africa, and a great human right advocate like Martin Luther King Jr. If not insanity of the highest order? Anyway, this should not come as a surprise to anyone who has been following Jonathan’s presidency of the past six years. Why? Just last year, brain dead man who is a special adviser to this do-nothing president compared Jonathan to our Lord Jesus Christ, Doyin Okupe openly said that Jonathan is like Jesus Christ who carries the burden of Nigerian people. No one should expect anything less from a dumb president who surround himself with crooks, unpatriotic, unintelligent and looters of our national treasury. Recently, president Badluck Jonathan stupidly compared himself to Moses who led God’s children from Egyptian slavery thousands of years ago. He has been in power for six years without anything good to show for it. Right now, he thinks kneeling before pastors, paying billions of naira bribes to fake pastors, kings, hungry beggars parading themselves as celebrities, and powerful and already rich Nigerian influential people will guarantee him victory on election day. Power of vote is in the hands of over 170 millions suffering Nigerian voters and with kings, pastors or hired bloggers. It is total ignorant and stupidity of the highest order for any president seeking reelection to ignore the well being of the people. This criminal and unpatriotic president has imposed more hardship, setbacks and suffering on innocent and helpless Nigerian people like never before seen. Naira has lost big junk of its value on international market, hike in the prices of petrol and kerosene due to fuel subsidy scam of 2011, money laundering operations, mismanagement, corruption, leadership failure, and insecurity that have resulted to untimely death of over 150,000 innocent children, mothers and fathers. Four more years of Jonathan if the election is rigged will bring total darkness, disunity, poverty, terrible governance, and insecurity that will lead to more blood bath in the northern region. Nigerians should shun tribalism, cultural differences, and religious intolerance on March 28th, 2015, and vote for General Mohammad Buhari that will help rescue our already sinking and declining nation from six years of Jonathan’s failures.

I wonder.!!!!! I always think of possibility of having another person from Niger Delta to rule this country after President Jonathan.
But Obama is working toward having another black man as President after him.
The likes of Edwin Clark never think of producing another president from their region after GEJ.
An Adage from western Nigeria says “An ingrate will stupidly slap virgin after deferment”. Because there is always a chance for second turn.

It is annoying and ludicrous when you see some crooks associating themselves with noble and well respected people like Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King and President Obama. It is very provoking when some mischievous and failure like GEJ trying to take credit for what he didn’t deserve. Let me make some certain things clear, a Nationalist like Nelson Mandela fought and went to prison to get his people out of white man’s captivity. In 1994 when he became president of South Africa, he found that people around him were so corrupt, they did not represent for what he stand for then he resigned his position honorably. Martin Luther King Junior was a civil right leader, he led his people out of the land of oppression to the promised land even though he was assassinated during the course of that journey, he did not enter the promised land with them but his death paved way for their freedom. I don’t see any comparison between this man and GEJ. GEJ will never lay his life down for the Nigerians. President Obama is far more intelligent than GEJ. I have said it before, as great as America is today they would never made a dumb person their President. The great job that Obama has done for his people GEJ can never match it even if he contest 100 times.
