The 36-year-old actress married 31-year-old Nnamdi Asomugha on the 24th of June, 2013 in Hailey, Idaho.
Nnamdi is a Nigerian-born footballer with San Francisco 49ers.
Kerry Washington’s parents were listed as witnesses during the secret wedding ceremony.
The lovers started dating in summer last year after Kerry broke up with her former lover, Hollywood actor David Moscow.
