April 28, 2017 – ISIS-Led Boko Haram Terrorists In Van Loaded With Explosives, Crashed Into Nigerian Military Convoy
A group of terrorists from the Al Barnawi faction of Boko Haram around 10am on Thursday attacked some soldiers conducting clearance operations between Yobe and Borno states.
The terrorists riding an explosive packed van rammed into a military convoy killing 5 soldiers, injuring over 40.
Two senior military officers who confirmed the attack said the terrorists rammed into the convoy at Manguzum village in Borno state.
“We lost five soldiers in the incident and more than 40 sustained various degrees of injuries,” said another officer, who asked to remain anonymous because he was not authorised to speak about the incident.
