Singer Mariah Carey for the first time in her adult life has come public with her secret battle with Bipolar Depressive mood disorder.
The singer in a recent chat with People’s Magazine said she was first diagnosed with the condition 17 years ago after she suffered mental and physical breakdown.
After years of secret struggle that has left her in isolation, the singer finally sought for medical help.
She told PEOPLE she is currently undergoing therapy and taking pills to treat bipolar 2 disorder.
